Solihull Moors have announced that Marshall Willock has returned to the club from Chesterfield
The defender was a product of Moors Academy, having been released from a similar position at Walsall. He had earlier trialled with Birmingham City and Scunthorpe United, and turned down a trial at Grimsby Town to stay with Moors.
He signed a two-year contract at Chesterfield at the start of last season but went out on loan at non-league Kettering Town to enhance his development.
After returning to the Spireites’ youth team he then spent the remainder of the season with Matlock Town
He will give Moors options in defence and made his comeback for Tim Flowers as a substitute last night in the Maidenhead game.
