Chippenham Town have confirmed the signing of experienced forward Kaid Mohamed.
The Welsh-born 33-year-old has had a varied career but enjoyed spells in the Football League with AFC Wimbledon, Bristol Rovers, Northampton Town (all loan), Cheltenham Town, Swindon Town, Accrington Stanley and Port Vale. Mohamed also garnered some attention for his rapping, with Sky Sports’ Soccer AM featuring his freestyling on the show.
Chippenham boss Mark Collier said: “Kaid has been training with us for a few weeks and has agreed a deal until the end of the season. He can play wide or as a central striker.
“I felt it was important that we have every area covered as we enter the final third of the season.”
