Chippenham Town could be without Will Puddy for as long as four months after receiving the diagnosis on the goalkeeper’s knee injury.
Puddy missed Saturday’s 4-1 home defeat by Welling United and last night’s 2-1 win over Truro City with the problem and saw a specialist earlier this week.
He is now expected to begin a course of treatment, with his recovery possibly taking as long as four months.
Town drafted in Swindon Town goalkeeper Will Henry on a short-term loan last week, the youngster featuring against Welling and Truro.
