Chippenham Town say the club now have a chance to ‘take stock’, following the decision to end the current season.

With the 2020/21 National League South campaign declared null and void late last week, the club have now said in a statement:

“CTFC believes this is a sensible and pragmatic outcome given the position in which we (and other clubs) have found ourselves through no fault of our own as a consequence of the COVID-19 and related matters which have been detailed fully elsewhere.

“The club now has an opportunity to take stock and we very much hope that sufficient progress is made in combating the pandemic’s impact over coming weeks and months so that next season can go ahead on time, and most importantly, with our supporters in attendance.”
