Chorley have announced the permanent signing of full-back Will Beesley from Southport and the arrival of winger Micah Evans on loan from league rivals Stockport County.
Beesley originally arrived at Victory Park on loan from the National League side in January and was a revelation at left-back until injury curtailed his temporary switch.
With the transfer deadline approaching and Beesley nearing full fitness, Chorley manager Matt Jansen has moved to bring him back on a permanent basis and he could be in contention for selection for today`s home league game against Curzon Ashton.
Jansen also added winger Micah Evans (pictured) to his squad.
The 23-year-old joins on loan from Stockport until the end of the season.
Evans is product of the Blackburn Rovers academy and had a spell with Burnley’s development squad.
His first tastes of senior football came during loan spells with Accrington Stanley, Chesterfield, Macclesfield Town, Hereford United and Worcester City.
He joined Southport in the summer of 2014 and moved to Stockport a year later and this season has made twenty-seven appearances for the Hatters, netting twice.
