Chris Holroyd is Chorley’s first summer signing, after his release from fellow Vanarama National League side Wrexham.
The 32-year-old centre-forward made 12 starts and featured 30 times in all competitions for the Red Dragons during the 2018/19 campaign, notching four goals.
Holroyd said: “I’m delighted to have signed on for Chorley and can’t wait to get stuck in to pre-season. I’ve heard great things about the club and I know I’m joining a really talented squad, a group of winners, who are ambitious about what we can achieve together this season.”
Manager Jamie Vermiglio said: “It was important for us to add to our options going forward and Chris brings to the table both quality and experience at National League level. This signing will hopefully be the first of a number of new faces coming into the club over the coming weeks and it’s a great one to start with.”
