Chorley club stalwart Adam Roscoe has joined Evo-Stik Division One North promotion-chasers Bamber Bridge on dual registration, as he looks to get back to full match fitness.
The midfielder has struggled to get into Matt Jansen’s side during the 2017/18 season, following a recurring back injury. The deal to take him to Bamber Bridge will see him get back to full match fitness and link up with fellow Magpie, Kieran Charnock.
Chorley assistant manager Jamie Vermiglio said: “Adam’s gone to Bamber Bridge on a dual registration, in an effort to get his match fitness back up.”
“He’s had a few issues this season with a back injury and has only really just come back from it. It’s a vicious circle when you’re not playing on a consistent basis, as your match fitness drops a little, so it’s a great opportunity for him.”
“This was a joint decision by ourselves, Adam and Bamber Bridge, and we’re confident Adam will get back to his brilliant best with some consistent game time.”
