Chesterfield have signed Manny Oyeleke from Port Vale.
The versatile 28-year-old joins James Rowe’s side for an undisclosed fee.
The full-back/midfielder is a former Chelsea, Queens Park Rangers and Brentford youngster who went on to feature for Exeter City and Aldershot Town.
It was during his time with the latter that he worked alongside Spireites boss Rowe, at that time Aldershot’s assistant.
Oyeleke told Chesterfield’s website: “I enjoyed two good years with him. I know all that he’s about and the type of football he wants to play.
“When I heard that he was interested, it was a big, big factor. The club’s flying and it’s built for success.
“The club is really ambitious and I want to be part of that.”
