City of Liverpool FC have announced the departure of manager Craig Robinson.

Former Warrington Town player Robinson leaves the Purps after over two years at the helm, during which he guided the club to promotion.

The Northern Premier League North West Division side have lost their opening three league games of 2020/21.

The club, who say they will be appointing a caretaker manager, said as part of a statement: “Craig gets what this club is about, he understands our values and ambitions and the role that our supporters play. We hope to see him finally being able to watch and actually enjoy a Purps match when he feels the time is right.”
