Chelmsford City FC have announced the appointment of four new non-Executive Directors.
This is to support their ambitions going forward and the takeover by the Jade Global Group.
Paul Webster has been named as the club’s new Commercial Director.
Although he is a Leyton Orient supporter he has followed City for the past two decades and has been seen at quite a few City games in recent years. Paul, as Commercial Director, will oversee the Club’s commercial activities including a brief to enhance income generated from that area.
John Scott, now the Club’s Strategic Development Director, firmly believes that with continuing growth of Chelmsford, the City warrants a soccer team competing in the Football League and John is committed as the Club’s newest non-Executive Director to actively pursue this objective.
In addition Gary Warner and Nicola Jenkins, both from the Jade Global Group, will be helping oversee the proposed takeover by Jade.
All four new appointees will be attending the forthcoming Members meeting where, on a quarterly basis, the Club’s Board of Directors meet with Company Members to discuss progress both on and off the field.
