Chelmsford City have confirmed the signings of Chris Assombalonga and Aristide Bassele.
26-year-old Assombalonga joins the Clarets having featured for Billericay Town last season. The former Dagenham & Redbridge front-man appeared seventeen times for the Blues after signing under Glenn Tamplin, finding the net four times during his spell at the AGP Arena before being released in April 2017.
Assombalonga signed for Dagenham & Redbridge in June 2016 after impressing for Waltham Abbey where he netted 31 goals in 34 appearances during the 2015-16 season.
Meanwhile, former Bournemouth right winger Bassele also joins the Clarets. The tricky winger made 26 appearances over three loan spells for Welling United, netting twice and grabbing two assists for the Wings.
