Joe Clarke became Tamworth`s fourth new signing ahead of next season to date, joining Greg Mills, Stephan Morley and Jack Lane.

The 27-year-old midfielder will be a familiar face to some members of the Lambs squad, having played with Morley at Brackley Town during the second half of last season, as well as being a team-mate of Ross Dyer at Hednesford Town, and Stephen Tomassen at Wrexham.

Indeed, it was at Wrexham where Solihull native Clarke enjoyed his most successful spell, making close to 150 appearances in a four-year period, and also winning the FA Trophy in 2013.

He began last season at Kidderminster Harriers, appearing in all of their first seventeen games of the season, before being allowed to leave due to the club`s worsening financial situation, finishing last season on loan at Brackley.
