Paul Clayton has been revealed as the new assistant manager at Toolstation NCEL Division One side Knaresborough Town.

He joins from Premier Division outfit Thackley where he had a similar role.

“He is a UEFA A qualified coach and has done a super job at Thackley last year and Tadcaster Albion before that.

“I cant wait to start working with him and push the team on this year.”

The club’s football chairman Peter Plews added: “I am very pleased that Paul Clayton has decided to join us at Knaresborough Town as assistant manager – it’s all the pauls!

“The committee and I look forward to working with him next season and welcome him to Knaresborough Town.”
