Lincoln City midfielder Andy Wright has joined Grantham Town on a month-long loan, whilst Harry Clifton has extended his own loan for a further month.
Wright who had spells with Lincoln United, Sleaford Town and Stamford last season, goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s home game with Frickley Athletic.
The young midfielder played against Grantham for Stamford last season, whilst he also appeared as a half-time sub for The Imps in this seasons County Cup encounter at the Meres, in which the visitors won 5-1.
Andy was awarded his first professional contract with Lincoln ahead of the 2015/6 season, following an impressive season at youth level in which he scored 25 goals from open play.
Whilst Wright will be a new addition to the Gingerbreads midfield options, Harry Clifton who has already spent two months with the club, has been allowed to extend for a further month from his parent club Grimsby Town.
Also joining the club is 20 year-old Jeremiah Dasaolu from Loughborough University. Described as a raw-talent with bags of pace, Dasaolu has netted 5 times so far this season for the Midland Football League side, including 2 goals in the FA Cup.
Finally, leaving the club is Danny Durkin who has agreed to join Loughborough Dynamo. Durkin has been unable to hold down a regular first team place since arriving from Harrowby United in the summer, has recently spent time with Spalding United.
Danny felt he needs regular first team football and living in Loughborough, joining former Grantham manager Wayne Hallcro seems the obvious choice. Everyone at Grantham would like to wish Danny all the best for the future.
