Clitheroe winger Jake Connelly has extended his deal at the club.
The Northern Premier League North West side say they have taken up an option to extend Connelly’s contract into next season after he continues to impress.
Blues player-manager David Lynch told the club’s website:
“Jake’s performances before his injury in pre-season were immense. He has worked extremely hard with Neil Coomber in his rehabilitation, which allowed him to hit the ground running when he returned to competitive action against Kendal just before lockdown.
“The sky is the limit for Jake, as he is unique in the modern game as an out-and-out left-winger that only wants to go forward and deliver quality into the box.”
