THREE Sydenhams Premier Division clubs are among 68 nationwide to have applied for promotion to Step 4 of the non-League pyramid.
Blackfield & Langley, AFC Portchester and league leaders Moneyfields have informed the Football Association that they wish to be considered for Southern/Ryman League football.
Moneyfields currently top the Wessex table, nine points clear of second-placed Sholing, who have not applied to go up.
Graham Rix’s AFC Portchester are a point behind Sholing and two clear of Blackfield following Saturday’s 2-1 win at Gang Warily.
Former Wessex club Thatcham Town have also expressed their desire for promotion.
Managed by ex-Alresford and Winchester City boss Danny Robinson, Thatcham are currently third in the Hellenic Premier Division.
