AFC Fylde have taken defender Dan Jones on a month`s loan from League Two side Grimsby Town.
Jones joined the Mariners on a one-year deal during the summer of 2016 following their return to the Football League via the National League Promotion Final.
He is a product of Hartlepool United’s youth system, having previously been at Sunderland’s academy for four years.
Jones made his first-team debut for Pools in March 2014.
Upon new Hartlepool manager Ronnie Moore’s arrival at the club, Jones began to get a lot more games in defence and became a valuable member of the side that helped Pools to avoid relegation from League Two.
Jones has made three appearances for the Mariners and earlier this season had a month`s loan with National League side Gateshead.
