Karl Duguid has been named as the new Stanway Rovers manager.
The former Colchester United and Plymouth Argyle player played for Rovers during two spells in his career.
He replaces Angelo Harrop, who handed in his resignation on Tuesday night.
Duguid will take charge of Rovers after 1st January, with former assistant manager Michael Pulford in charge in a caretaker role until then.
Duguid’s first game will be at home to Saffron Walden Town on 7th January.
