Colwyn Bay boss Alan Morgan has increased his short-term midfield options by signing experienced Tom McCready on a month’s loan from AFC Fylde ahead of Saturday’s tough trip to Tadcaster Albion.
The 26-year-old, who is an Everton youth graduate, was signed by Dave Challinor at Fylde in the summer after two seasons with League Two Exeter City, for whom he scored in a League Cup tie against Sunderland but had his opportunities hampered by injury. He has made 11 appearances for the National League side this season, although the last was in December.
