With 12 games to cram into the final six weeks, Colwyn Bay have added to their squad by signing former Rhyl and Llandudno utility player Liam Dawson.

International clearance may not come through in time for him to be involved tonight (Tuesday) against a Colne side that are three points and one place below Colwyn Bay in the table.

“Liam is a good lad with a great left foot and is a very useful acquisition to the squad with games coming thick and fast now,” said Alan Morgan.

Dawson, who started at Oldham Athletic and has also been with Nantwich, Marine and Warrington Town, can play central midfield, fullback or wide left and right.
