After the announcement of Lee Minshull as assistant manager, new Concord Rangers boss Danny Scopes is wasting no time in building his backroom staff.

Scopes has appointed James Roach as first-team coach. Roach, a UEFA A licence coach has recently had spells with local senior clubs Hullbridge Sports and Aveley.

“James brings a heap of knowledge and his professional approach with be a huge benefit to this group,” said Scopes.

He added: “Myself and Lee are excited to have James as a part of the management team as first-team coach for next season.”

Roach said: “I’m delighted to be joining Concord Rangers and Danny’s management team. Having known Dan for a number a years it was an easy decision to make knowing how professional he is.

“Working with Concord Rangers and at National League South level is something that really appealed to me. I’m really looking forward to starting pre-season and getting to work with the players.”
