Darren Beale has called on Concord Rangers to put a winning run together in order to climb the National League South standings, report The Basildon Standard.

The Beach Boys made an impressive start to the campaign, but five defeats in their last nine divisional outings has seen Sammy Moore’s side drop to 13th place.

However, Concord welcome Eastbourne Borough to the Aspect Arena tonight and a win could see them break into the top four.

“Hopefully we can maintain the decent home form we have been enjoying at home so far this season,” said Beale, the Beach Boys’ first team coach.

“Eastbourne have got a good away record, but so did Chelmsford City when we played them last month and we won 3-0.

“It’s a must-win game for us in order to keep in touch with those at the top of the table.

“We are mid-table at the moment, but if we can string a couple of wins together leading into Christmas then that will put us right up there.”
