Concord Rangers versus Chippenham Town this weekend will not go ahead.
Both clubs are among those to have received a charge from the National League over not fulfilling fixtures, with numerous sides stating their unwillingness to take on debt to complete the current campaign in the absence of further grant funding.
Concord chairman Antony Smith publicly stated in response that the club would not respond to the charge.
Chippenham have also shared their dissatisfaction, saying as part of a club statement: “We continue to hope that in unprecedented times, common sense can prevail. Clinging to the rule book whilst at the same time refusing to communicate with clubs is unlikely to achieve anything positive in the short-term.”
On the postponement of this weekend’s fixture between the two teams, Concord Rangers have said: “We fully respect Chippenham’s position and would like to thank them for their constant communication this week.”
