Danny Scopes is not surprised to have had to deal with a number of departures from Concord Rangers.
Numerous star players from last season have left the Aspect Arena in search of pastures new.
But Scopes, who replaced Sammy Moore as the National League South side’s boss earlier this month, remains unfazed by the amount of players seeking opportunities elsewhere.
“I would have liked to have kept all of the players that have left,” said Scopes.
“They were all good for the club and played their part in what was a good season.
“But the nature of losing your manager and the success we enjoyed means that keeping everyone becomes difficult.
“It is no different to most summers at Concord Rangers.”
