Corby Town have named Gary Mills as the club’s new manager.
Mills arrives at Steel Park from Kings Lynn Town, where he was assistant manager to Gary Setchell.
He spent 2014/15 as Kevin Wilkin’s assistant at Wrexham, before joining Rugby Town as manager in 2015.
He began his football career with Coventry City before joining the Rushden and Diamonds youth system in 1997.
He made over 170 appearances for the Nene Park club in three seperate spells, whilst also representing Crawley Town, Tamworth, Kettering Town, Stevenage Borough, Mansfield Town, Forest Green Rovers, Bath City, Lincoln City, Nuneaton and Boston United during his 17-year playing career.
During that time he won both the Conference Premier and Division Three with Rushden and Diamonds, before winning promotion to the Conference Premier with both Kettering and Nuneaton Town.
He also won the FA Trophy in 2008/09, as Stevenage Borough beat York City at Wembley Stadium in the final.
Mills becomes the 44th man in charge of the Steelmen.
