AFC Telford United boss Gavin Cowan is refusing to pay any attention to the National League North table until the new year, say The Shropshire Star.

The Bucks currently sit second in the division, having gone eight games unbeaten.

“I’m not interested in places in the table,” he said.

“My only issue would be if we were in the bottom three. I might look at the table then to see how to get out of there.

“It’s not of interest, at all. I just want three points from every game.”

On when he’ll be tempted to have a peek, he added: “Just in January.

“After December, the Christmas double-header, I’ll look at the table. But not until then.”
