Boss Gavin Cowan spoke of his immense pride as AFC Telford United finished the first month of the campaign undefeated, report The Shropshire Star.

The Bucks drew 2-2 at Leamington yesterday, extending their unbeaten run to seven games in National League North.

They have won all three at home, winning one and drawing three on the road, and Cowan said on an awesome August:

“When I go into the changing room and the lads are all really disappointed, heads down, I just say to them ‘we’re seven games unbeaten’.

“We’ve got 15 points – and they predicted it. The players said that’s where they wanted to be, they wanted to win all their home games and have 15 points on the board (by the end of the month) so they’ve achieved that.”
