Bromsgrove Sporting have signed goalkeeper Dan Crane and defender Louis Hall, from Bedworth United and Stourbridge respectively, pending ratification from the league.
Crane started his career with West Brom and moved to Burton Albion and then on to Rushden and Diamonds, all before a brief spell with Bromsgrove Rovers. He played for Corby and Solihull Moors before a lengthy seven-year spell at Hednesford.
Manager Bren Kelly stated: “He will add a wealth of experience and leadership, which is something myself and Andy (Mason, assistant coach) felt needed addressing.”
Crane commented: “I’m looking forward to a fresh challenge back at my hometown club.”
Hall was at Aston Villa from the age of 12 – he had a two-year deal with them from ages 16 to 18. He then decided that he wanted to play men’s football and joined Stourbridge, where his first team chances have been limited.
Kelly commented: “We are delighted to have secure his signature. He is a young and very exciting left-sided player”.
Talking about his move, Hall said: “I can’t wait to get going. I like the philosophy of how Bren wants to play the game and can’t wait for my chance to play in front of the Sporting fans.”
