Ryan Croasdale has made a statement over his departure from AFC Fylde.
The midfielder leaves the Coasters after two years, with the National League North club publicising details late last week of a contract dispute that led to the 25-year-old’s departure.
Croasdale has now said: “Just wanted to say thank you to all the players, staff and fans at AFC Fylde for all the support over the last few years.
“Unfortunately the statement put out a few days ago does not paint the full picture of what has been happening behind the scenes and is not an accurate representation of myself. Despite this I would like to wish AFC Fylde all the best in the upcoming season.”
