Met Police have confirmed that Billy Crook has agreed to join Ryman Premier League rivals Enfield Town.

Met Police only received a seven day approach from Enfield on Monday and manager Jim Cooper spoke to Billy this evening who confirmed he had already spoken to Enfield and had agreed to sign for them.

Cooper spoke of the move saying “It came as no surprise that Enfield had already spoken to Bill, I am not precious about these things so although we will miss Crooky there is no point holding him for the seven days. Billy is an excellent player, he has served the club very well and I wish him all the very best at Enfield.

They are a very good side already and Bill will bring even more quality to their squad and will not have long to wait to see him again as we have them at Imber Court in less than a fortnight”
