Dulwich Hamlet are set to play Premier League Crystal Palace next month in a fundraising friendly.
The game will take place on Thursday 11th October (kick-off 7pm) at Tooting & Mitcham FC’s Imperial Fields, where Dulwich Hamlet currently play their home games.
Palace say that Roy Hodgson will field ‘a strong Palace XI’ in the friendly, with all proceeds to go to Dulwich Hamlet.
The Vanarama National League South club, promoted at the end of last season, have had well-documented off-field struggles in recent times. Back in July it was reported that they were to lose around £15,000 as a pre-agreed friendly with Palace had not been honoured by the top-flight side.
