Ian Culverhouse is set to leave his post as King’s Lynn Town manager.
The club had expressed their disappointment at Culverhouse’s decision to speak to the media about his decision, stating that ‘Ian gave no indication to either the club’s media team or local journalists of his decision when speaking with them following yesterday’s game with St Neots.’ The club’s chairman Stephen Cleeve has told Lynn News the club will be advertising for the job this week:
“We are looking for an ambitious manager, who likes to play football, with a proven track record and good contacts. It’s important that they are an excellent coach who is prepared to put in a pathway throughout the club from the younger age groups upwards.
“I’ve got one particular person in mind but nothing is guaranteed so the job will be advertised and we will see who is interested. I want the new person in place in the next few weeks, hopefully by the end of May.”
