Curzon Ashton have announced the appointment of Will Ryder as assistant manager.

With over 15 years experience in the professional and semi-pro game, Ryder brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role at the Nash, having previously held positions at Manchester City, Stoke City and Wigan Athletic as well as a playing career at a number of non-league clubs.

Speaking on the appointment, manager Mark Bradshaw said:

“I appointed Will as Assistant Manager as I feel he will bring new, modern ideas to the role and it will give the players a new face at the club.

“Will comes with a vast experience of coaching and management within the pro and semi-pro game.

“He is a highly qualified coach and coach tutor who came with high recommendations from several people within the pro game.

“I can’t wait to get Will involved and we can start implementing our philosophy.”

Ryder will commence his first-team duties this weekend at FC United.
