Curzon Ashton have announced that striker Adam Morgan has decided to sign for Vanarama National League North rivals FC Halifax Town.

Morgan joined Curzon in October after spending the start of the 2016/17 season as a free agent.

He is a former Liverpool youngster who has an appearance in the Europa League to his name, as well as a goal against Toronto FC on a pre-season tour of the USA.

He also made over twenty England Youth appearances.

After joining Curzon he went on to become a goalscoring sensation with a host of memorable strikes.

He famously netted a hat-trick live on BT Sport in the Emirates FA Cup classic against AFC Wimbledon.

He also scored two against Halifax, the club he will be joining, in a 4-2 victory earlier this season.

Morgan leaves Curzon with a record of 11 goals in nine appearances in all competitions.
