Dagenham & Redbridge have signed goalkeeper Josh Strizovic.
The 19-year-old is a product of Braintree Town’s youth system, where he featured on the bench for the Iron as a 16-year-old before joining Burnham Ramblers in the Essex Senior League in the summer of 2017. Aged just 17, he went on to play a full season in the first team for Burnham, winning the players’ and manager’s player of the year awards at the end of the season.
He was then picked up by Billericay Town in the 2018 close-season, before linking up with Harry Wheeler once again when he signed for Maidstone United in September 2018. The 6’3 stopper has also spent time on loan at Basildon United and will be looking to learn a lot from Glen Johnson and Elliot Justham throughout the season.
