Dagenham & Redbridge have announced the signings of midfielders Liam Bellamy and Jack Munns on deals that will run until the end of the season, subject to league approval.
Bellamy joins the Daggers after leaving Dover Athletic in the summer. The 26-year-old played sixteen times for Chris Kinnear’s side in the National League, having re-joined the club from Aldershot in December 2017. He has also previously played for Ebbsfleet United, where he made 49 appearances over a two-year period in 2015.
Munns joins the club having spent last season in the North East with Hartlepool United, where he made 17 appearances in the National League, scoring once. The former Tottenham Hotspur trainee also spent two years at Cheltenham Town, where he made 69 appearances and helped the club gain promotion from the National League in the 2015/16 season.
Bellamy will wear the number 31 shirt and Munns will wear number 23.
Peter Taylor gave his thoughts on the signings:
“I’m delighted to have brought in Liam and Jack because they both have a good amount of experience at this level and they will add options to our squad. I’m pleased with the effort that the rest of the squad has put in, but when we have been punished this year, it perhaps because we are a young squad, so that’s why we decided to bring in two players,” he said.
