Dagenham & Redbridge have announced the signing of Mitch Brundle on a two-year deal, commencing on 1st July.
The midfielder, who can also play at full-back, was involved in over a third of Dover Athletic’s goals in the 2018/19 National League season. Registering eight goals and 13 assists, he had a hand in 36% of Dover’s goals, while also captaining the side for two seasons.
Brundle started his career in Yeovil Town’s youth ranks, before moving on to Bristol City in 2013. While at Bristol, he went out on loan to Cheltenham Town, after which he signed permanently for Braintree Town in 2014. He was part of the Braintree team that finished third in the National League, before going on to be defeated by Grimsby in the play-off semi-final in the 2015/16 season.
In recent years, Brundle has enjoyed spells at Gateshead and Dover, with the 24-year-old’s goal and assist tallies increasing season on season.
