Solihull Moors have announced that Liam Daly has committed his future to the Vanarama National League club, signing a contract extension until the end of the 2019/20 season.
The long-serving defender recently surpassed 250 appearances in a Moors shirt, after first joining the club in 2008 from Redditch United.
The 31-year-old was part of the 2015/16 National League North title-winning squad, while also playing a crucial role as the club retained its National League status over the last couple of seasons.
Daly has been a mainstay in Tim Flowers’ starting 11 over the course of the current campaign to date and has missed just 50 minutes of league action all season.
He recently netted his first league goal since December 2017 – the first in a 2-1 victory away at Gateshead, which doubled his tally for the season after his Emirates FA Cup strike at Witton Albion back in October.
