Darlington have signed midfielder Omar Holness.
Holness, whose 25th birthday was yesterday, has been playing as a midfielder in the USA for Real Salt Lake and Bethlehem Steel, and recently had trials with Oldham Athletic. He has been capped by Jamaica at various age levels.
Darlington manager Tommy Wright said: “Omar has got a winning mentality, and is the kind of character that we need in the dressing room.”
Holness will go straight into the squad for Saturday’s home game with Chester.
