Darlington have confirmed a positive COVID-19 test in the squad.
However, this is not set to force postponement of any of their upcoming fixtures.
The National League North club explain: “One of our first-team players has tested positive for COVID-19, and so therefore, in accordance with the relevant PHE and National League protocols, he has now gone into self-isolation until 21st January.
“He contracted these symptoms away from the club last weekend when we didn’t have a game, and has not been in physical contact with any of the other first-team players or management since then.
“Therefore, as far as playing matches are concerned, we are still able to fulfil our fixtures. We would like to wish the player concerned a speedy recovery.”
