Darlington say they are welcoming applications from women for their vacant managerial role.
Tommy Wright left the club at the end of last week, with the Quakers ending the Vanarama National League North season in 16th position. Included in the club’s advertisement for the role is the following:
We welcome applications in particular from Women and Black & Ethnic Minority candidates and will guarantee an interview to suitably qualified individuals who meet the specification above.
Seeking to build towards promotion to the National League, the club are looking for a candidate with the UEFA A Licence, or to ‘be actively registered and studying for this qualification together with evidence of continuing professional development over the last five years.’
