Darlington defender Chris Hunter will miss the next two weeks of the pre-season build up because of a minor operation.
Hunter has been unable to feature in any of the Quakers friendly fixtures so far due to a knee injury.
Now the club have confirmed that he will undergo keyhole surgery later in the week to clear up the injury.
A suspension hanging over from last season means the former Shildon defender will miss the first two games of the new Vanarama National League North season against Altrincham and Boston United.
However he will be available for the Quakers trip to Curzon Ashton on Monday 15th August.
