Darren Byfield has left his position as manager of Stratford Town, the club have confirmed.
The former Aston Villa and Sunderland striker took over at the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier club in late-May. The 41-year-old is said to have resigned from his role, though the club have yet to confirm this, instead just opting to thank him for his efforts and wish him well for the future.
The one-time Jamaican international started his managerial career at Redditch United, a club he eventually left part-way through last season.
Stratford have started the season with five points taken from their opening six games.
