Dartford have expressed their disappointment over the FA Alliance Committee’s decision to reject the proposal to continue the current season.
Following the null and void decision over the 2020/21 campaign at Step 2, some clubs have been pushing for a way to carry on the season for those who wish to do so.
After Friday’s announcement that the proposal had been turned down, National League South Dartford said as part of a statement:
“The proposal was rejected out of hand and the results of the earlier votes on resolutions which resulted in the season being declared null and void have been ratified.
“We are extremely disappointed that the season is now officially over and equally disappointed that the result was not relayed direct to the clubs by the National League, after so much time and effort had been invested in the alternative proposal.
“We will be communicating with all season ticket holders next week to discuss the options now available.”
