East Thurrock United manager John Coventry has today announced that Dartford striker Andy Pugh has joined the club.
30-year-old Pugh becomes the fourth player to make the switch from Princes Park to Rookery Hill in recent times, following in the footsteps of Lee Burns, Danny Harris and Billy Crook.
Hecame through the youth section at Gillingham, making six league starts for the Gills. While at Priestfield, he had loan spells at a number of clubs, including at Grays back in their Conference days.
In 2010 he signed for Welling United, and his scoring exploits attracted the attention of several clubs. In 2012 he joined Cambridge United for a substantial fee.
