Breakaway women’s team London City Lionesses have confirmed they will play their home matches in Dartford, Kent.

London City Lionesses are a new independent club formed by the board of the Millwall Lionesses after they decided to split from Millwall at the end of last season.

They will take the place of Millwall Lionesses in the Women’s Championship for 2019-20 and kick-off the new season away against London Bees on Sunday.

Ahead of their first match as a new entity, London City Lionesses today released their crest and confirmed their base will be Princes Park Stadium, home of Dartford FC and where Millwall Lionesses played last season. Longer-term they will explore moving to their own home in London but for now they will be based outside the capital.
