St Neots Town manager Andy Davies has resigned from his position at the club.

The Saints are without a win since their 4-1 victory at Redditch United on Saturday 5th November.  Since that win they have been knocked out of the FA Trophy by Marine and drawn two and lost four of their six Evo-Stik Southern League games.

Their defeat at play-off chasing Merthyr Town on Saturday left them in twenty first place in the Evo-Stik Southern League table.

Now manager Davies has decided the leave the club.

In a statement released on their official website the club said “Andy Davies has informed the club that he wishes to tender his resignation as first team manager and reluctantly we have accepted. The club would like to go on record and thank Andy for all the hard work he has put into the first team both at the backend of last season and for the first half of this season.

Andy will now concentrate all of his energy and wealth of knowledge on taking the Scholarship and Academy programmes forward for the foreseeable future.
