Marcus Day has put pen to paper on a loan extension, meaning the Harrogate Town registered player will turn out for Ossett Town for a further month.

Grant Black is delighted to keep the young striker for the additional time saying “he has added great quality, fantastic attitude and work ethic which is a massive part of what we look for in every player, add to that his goal it gives us a great player for a further month”.

The weather has restricted Day to four appearances, but in those games he has hit the net three times as the reds picked up twelve points from a possible fifteen, including a brace at Goole in his second game.

Marcus Day is keen to get as much experience under his belt as he possibly can as he looks to play at the highest possible level of the football pyramid, Ossett Town are giving his a platform to develop and showcase his ability.

Weather permitting Day will next be in actin this coming Saturday as Ossett Town travel to Colne in the Evo-Stik First Division North.
