Nuneaton Town have signed highly-rated young Irish midfielder Darragh Leahy on a month`s loan from Sky Bet League One neighbours Coventry City.
A product of St Kevin’s Boys Club in Dublin, Leahy came to Coventry two years ago and has gone from strength to strength.
The 18-year-old featured for the Sky Blues` senior side in several pre-season friendlies.
Last season he skippered Coventry`s under-18 side and has won international caps for the Republic of Ireland at under-17 and under-19 level.
Meanwhile, Daniel Demkiv has mutually agreed to terminate his contract with Boro.
The winger joined in the summer from Salisbury FC and has gone on to make eleven appearances for the club.
Demkiv moved to Nuneaton from his home in Melksham for a career in full-time football but has found being away from his family difficult to cope with at times.
