Eastleigh’s Ollie Dennett has signed a professional contract with the club.

He was part of the scholarship programme, graduating in the summer of 2017, before undertaking an apprenticeship scheme throughout the 2017/18 season. As part of his apprenticeship, Dennett has trained with the first team squad, impressing the management team with his ability, skill and attitude – which has led to a number of appearances on the bench.

First team manager Andy Hessenthaler is delighted to have him on board for next season, “It’s fantastic to see Ollie sign his first professional contract.”

“He’s done a superb job during training, and he’s thoroughly impressed myself, Strevs and Rossco and is totally deserving of his contract. I also have to give credit to the academy team, they’ve done a brilliant job nurturing Ollie and we know hope he fulfils his potential.”
